Assessment role experience

BUILDIT ROLE, EXPERIENCE AND DIRECTION

← Your profile

What have you actually been doing?

Job titles only tell part of the story. This assessment builds a picture of the responsibility you actually carry, the environments you have worked in, the breadth and depth of your exposure, and where you want to head next.

Describe the work, not the title.

A Senior Contract Administrator can be running a narrow package on one project and effectively operating as a package commercial lead on another. Neither is inherently better. BUILDIT needs to understand the work behind the title before development or capability evidence means much.

Answer for your current or most recent substantial role unless the question asks about your broader career.
Exposure means meaningful involvement, not simply being present while somebody else owned the work.
Responsibility and autonomy matter more here than job title.
This is professional context. It is not a capability score and there are no preferred career paths.

What this assessment establishes

This gives the rest of BUILDIT a professional reference point so later judgement and practical evidence can be interpreted in context.

Context architecture
Actual responsibilityWhat you genuinely own today, rather than what your position description says.
Breadth and depthWhether your experience is broad across the commercial cycle or concentrated in particular areas.
Project complexityThe scale, interfaces, governance and delivery environments in which that experience was built.
AutonomyHow independently you operate and where decisions still require close review or direction.
People exposureInformal leadership, delegation, review, coaching and responsibility for others.
DirectionWhat kind of work, responsibility and career path you actually want next.

Why this matters: later BUILDIT evidence can distinguish between lack of capability and lack of opportunity. Someone cannot reasonably demonstrate experience they have never been given the chance to build.

Build my Role & Experience Snapshot

Once the questions are complete, this prototype will interpret the shape of your experience. It does not assess whether you are good at the work. Later practical evidence is what begins to answer that question.

This is not a capability score. It describes the shape of the experience you reported. BUILDIT can later compare this context with judgement assessments and demonstrated practical evidence to build a more reliable view of readiness and development.
